Los Angeles County Democratic Party Endorses Maria Elena Durazo for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors

State Senator Maria Elena Durazo announced her campaign for Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has earned the endorsement of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party (LACDP), the largest local Democratic Party organization in the United States and a powerful force representing more than 2.9 million registered Democrats across the County.

“Maria Elena Durazo has been a champion for working families, a fighter for justice, and a tireless leader for Los Angeles County,” said Mark Ramos, Chair of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party. “From her work raising wages and improving safety for hotel workers to her leadership in the State Senate to protect tenants, provide health care access to all Californians, give those justice-impacted a real second chance, Maria Elena has always prioritized our communities. The Democratic Party is proud to endorse her campaign for the Board of Supervisors.”

Maria Elena Durazo’s campaign has a broad coalition of supporters, including grassroots organizers, labor leaders, elected officials, and community advocates from every part of Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors District 1.
